Masala chai tres leches with tangy cream, salted coconut and sev (Indian chickpea noodles)

For the true chai lover.

Chai spiced sponge with a black tea masala chai spiced soak - offset with a little espresso to cut through the sweetness.

Full of chai spice flavours, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, pepper and orange.

This week we’ve paired poach quince with salted caramel, spiced pecans and white chocolate mousse

Classic banana puddings.

Still crazy how good vanilla wafer cookies, banana and vanilla cream can be 🍌

This week’s banoffee pudding is with espresso caramel.

Focaccia vegetarian special - roasted broccolini, artichokes, giardiniera, pesto, provolone & vintage cheese with a marinara dip.

Plus - broccauli cheese pie returns (with the addition of Jerusalem artichoke)

Chocolate blood orange brulee tart

Chocolate almond tart shell, baked chocolate mousse, blood orange marmalade, vanilla custard brulee. Jaffa vibes 💫

Quiches are back 🥀

Happy Jerusalem artichoke, rapini + chilli oil quiche season 🎄

New autumn choux on the menu for a couple of weeks - spent a little while thinking and creating this one 🐿️

White chocolate + parsnip namelaka, spiced pecans, poached quince, shortbread

Namelaka is a smooth cream that’s rich like ganache and light like mousse. White chocolate brings sweetness whilst parsnip brings an earthiness that balances the sweet. It’s not an overbearing or even savoury tasting cream, familiar but with a flavour you most likely wouldn’t be able to pinpoint unless told.

Pecans also help to balance the sweet white chocolate and floral elements in the quince.

All in all, it was very well received in the kitchen, even from those sceptical. It sounds a bit whack, but I encourage you to give something new a go. It’s a combination for flavour’s sake, not just to put a bunch of weird ingredients together for the ego of it 🤎🤎

The classic banana pudding.

Inspired by magnolia bakery (even though I’ve not yet tried it)

Housemade “Nila” vanilla cookies / wafers, the lightest vanilla custard cream, fresh banana.

Banoffee banana pudding.

Same as the previous pudding with the addition of miso caramel.

It’s back - better than ever.

The lightest, fluffiest, thirsty sponge soaked in espresso three milks. Layered with espresso soaked savoiardi and topped with even more mascarpone cream than ever before. Finished with a generous dusting of cocoa, it’s rich, light and delicious all at once.

Huge thank you to Robbie Almanac Coffee Roasters for pulling 8 litres of espresso this week for me 🤎🤎 we only use the good stuff here!

1 + 2. St Honore Tart
Vanilla almond tart shell, maple pecan, vanilla cremeux, spiced pecan, mascarpone cream, toffee Choux filled with salted caramel

3 + 4. Our best black sesame iteration to date 🖤
The softest black sesame chiffon, black sesame cream, yuzu curd to brighten it. Simple but full of flavours that just work together

5 + 6. Chocolate hazelnut espresso tart
Chocolate almond tart shell, hazelnut baked chocolate mousse, espresso caramel, milk chocolate ganache, hazelnut chocolate crumb, milk chocolate cream. Dreamy.

7. Espresso Canelés w/ espresso caramel

8. The classic white chocolate + raspberry Choux situation

9. Flan Patissier
Another simple classic, elevated. House puff laminated with butter. Custard made with free range eggs and many vanilla beans

10. Pies + savoury. We are working working working to get you your favourite staple pies. Butter chicken on the menu still 🎉
Long time customers might remember the spinach, ricotta and pinenut pastry from grange? It is returning this week in sausage roll form. Not terribly exciting I know, but tasty it is!

11 + 12. Russian Honey cake finally returns! Thanks for waiting so patiently. Using the same honey since 2018 from the one and only . Jack you legend!

10 + 11. Caramel Apple turnovers with vanilla mascarpone. These moved so fast last week - so surprising! We have prepped more more more but I would recommend getting in early if you don’t want to miss out

Quite possibly one of the greatest pies we’ve created.

When baked, the gravy soaks into the pastry, making even the shell one of the tastiest parts.

It’s full of flavour, familiar flavour but still surprisingly tasty.

Punjabi butter chicken - available this weekend.
