🇱🇧 The Wait Is Over... Our Menu Has Arrived! 🇱🇧

The response to our recent announcement about introducing authentic Lebanese home-style meals at Cleveland Rocks Cafe has been truly overwhelming.

We'd like to sincerely thank everyone who liked, shared, commented, and sent us messages of support and encouragement. We never expected such an incredible response, and we're so grateful for the excitement you've shown.

Today, we're proud to introduce Taste of Lebanon.

Our menu features authentic Lebanese dishes, freshly prepared using traditional recipes that have been passed down through our family for generations. Every meal is made in small batches using quality ingredients, bringing the authentic flavours of Lebanese home cooking to your table.

From crispy Kibbeh and hand-rolled Vegetarian Vine Leaves, to freshly baked Fatayer, fragrant Chicken Kabsi, slow-cooked Lamb Aouzi, fresh salads, and generous family meal packs, every dish is prepared with care, just as it has been for generations.

📅 Orders officially open on Monday, 27 July!

To ensure every meal is prepared fresh, all orders will be cooked to order, with collection available on our scheduled pickup days.

For many years, we've had the privilege of serving our local community through our café.

Over that time, we've come to appreciate that every family has different needs. Some days call for a quick meal out, a coffee with friends or an easy takeaway. Other days, all you really want is a wholesome, home-style dinner around the family table—but without spending hours shopping, preparing and cooking.

That idea has inspired something we've been quietly working on.

We're excited to soon introduce a new addition to our café...

A weekly collection of freshly prepared Lebanese family meals, available by pre-order.

Inspired by traditional family recipes and made in small batches using quality ingredients, these meals are designed for busy households who want the comfort of home-cooked food with the convenience of simply collecting it on the way home.

Every meal will be prepared only after it's been ordered, allowing us to focus on freshness, quality and the care that goes into every dish.

This isn't about replacing a night out or your favourite takeaway. It's about offering another option for those evenings when you'd love a nourishing family meal without spending the evening in the kitchen.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more about the menu, how the service will work and what you can expect.

We're so excited to bring this new chapter to our community, and we can't wait to share it with you.

We're a busy husband-and-wife-run fish and chip shop looking for a reliable junior casual team member to join our small team.

We're looking for someone who:
✅ Is reliable and punctual
✅ Learns quickly
✅ Works well under pressure during busy periods
✅ Has good communication skills
✅ Is friendly and proactive
✅ Enjoys working with customers

No experience is necessary – we're happy to train the right person.

We are an old-school style business. We take orders by hand and use a basic cash register, so we're looking for someone who can write clearly, handle cash, and isn't dependent on technology to do the job.

Duties include taking orders, serving customers, operating the register, food preparation, cleaning, and helping wherever needed.

If you're hardworking, keen to learn, and looking for a casual position in a supportive small business, we'd love to hear from you.

Lately, we’ve been hearing some really special stories from our customers ❤️

So many of you have told us that this little spot here at Cleveland Rocks Cafe used to be part of the old Cleveland town centre…
Some remember it as a cinema 🎬
Others remember coming here as kids for fish & chips with family.

It’s made us realise — this place means a lot to a lot of people.

We’d love to honour that.

We’re creating a scrapbook-style wall in the shop, filled with the memories, stories, and photos that make this place what it is.

If you remember this spot from years gone by, or have any old photos tucked away, we’d be so grateful if you shared them with us.
