Hi everyone, it has been suggested I share my journey on how I started making cookies and the occasional cake.

I first started with a unicorn cake for my late sons niece’s birthday. Then family and friends started asking. At first I was only asking for payment for ingredients as my skills improved. Then one day I decided to try cookies.

My cookies were a lot of trial and error. Nothing is as easy as it appears on YouTube lol. I never new the butter had to be the right temperature, mixing the dough to the right consistency to prevent shrinkage and spreading. Then just when you get it right, that all changes in summer 😫.

Everyone who ordered a cake received free cookies to try and receive feedback. I used this as my apprenticeship period, to perfect this 7 centimetres of love.

So here they are in their glorious nakedness. Baked in my opinion to perfection.
