The face behind the cakes 🫣

It dawned on me recently that I have never shared anything about myself - so here it is!

I'm Natalia, maker, lover and devourer of cakes. 🎂

When I'm not engrossed in all things cake, I'm also a mum to a 2 year old who accompanies me on all my cake making endeavors, a fiance and d&d enthusiast.

I started making cakes because I had always baked for family & friends, and had overwhelmingly good feedback. I had also spent my adult life searching for a creative outlet and it turns out that cake decorating satisfied the creative in me (and the lover of sweets).
It also provided me with a form of independence that allowed for some level of work-life balance I so desperately craved after my son was born. So, I took the leap and left my 9-5, and voila! Holy Cake was born.

I'm particularly passionate about creating bespoke designs in retro and lambeth styles, and working with wafer paper and edible florals. I love nothing more than being given creative freedom to create something uniquely you. Why choose someone elses design when together we could create your very own?

Cake is just one of the details that make up your special moments, but it is always there when you celebrate. It is more than just a tasty treat, it is something which brings people together, it is a focal point of celebrations, an opportunity for creative expression, and in some cultures it can be symbolic and part of ritual. We sing around cakes at birthdays, we light candles and we celebrate around cake at all occasions. Cake is so wonderfully communal and it's creation requires care and passion by the maker.

This is why I love cake so much and why I pour my heart and soul into every creation. 🩷
