Was so excited to make this Frozen inspired Elsa birthday cake for a very special little 3 year old.

I tried a new technique using rice paper and food colouring to get the water/ice wave effect behind Elsa.

Finally…someone requested an Elsa Frozen cake. I was super excited for this one and so happy with how it turned out with very limited preparation time.
I will never not love getting to see kids reactions when they see their cake for the first time, and this little 3 year old’s reaction did not disappoint…pure joy, makes all the hard work so worth it.

Hello my lovelies,

It’s been a beautifully busy week for cupcakes, with more still to come.

I’ve created a Little Mermaid inspired set for my amazing friend Soph Calvert’s birthday; put together some sweet pink & blue gender reveal cupcakes in new packaging, and even attempted my very first Sunflower Posy.

You’d think sunflowers would be simple—but they’re surprisingly tricky! Definitely one I’ll be practising a lot more, but I’m excited to keep refining them.

Thanks to my wonderful friends and family who have so graciously let me borrow their ovens since mine decided it will never bake again, these gorgeous florals are now on their way to a baby shower. Loving this requested colour combination 🥰
