Big news, friends!
Joel Hood Property has jumped on board as a major sponsor of the upcoming Flavours of Greater Noosa book, and together with publisher, Jonette George, we’ll be directing over $100,000 to Events For Greater Good to support people in our community doing it tough.
Now we need all our incredible local restaurants, cafés, pubs, distilleries and breweries to jump on board. This book is our chance to showcase everything that is great about our region — the people, the stories and the flavours that make Greater Noosa one of the truly special food communities in Australia.
This project is also about standing beside our hospitality workers and venue owners, shining a light on their hard work, resilience and the way they continually show up for our community. When our local venues stand together, we don’t just create a beautiful book — we create real change for families facing hardship, homelessness and domestic violence. If you’re a local venue and want to be part of something that gives back while celebrating what you do best, I’d love to chat. A very big personal thanks goes to Joel and his team!! 🙌🙌🙌 And thanks to for his help with the book.

What a lineup

**Meet the Line Up**

Karen & Ray

Karen Thomsen, Guitar Guru Ray Gage and master Fiddle player Kristen G McNeil. Half of the line up out of the Karen Thomsen Band performing locally and at far away Festivals. Smooth, rich vocals, riveting riffs and the aggressive attack of a manipulative bow on strings.
This trio will take you on a journey via melodic story telling. All the feels …some moments deep and some shallow but all the feels of simple life experiences.
Loving what they do and keeping it simple is the recipe for creating successful moments of connection with their audiences and they cannot wait to have their very fist Mary River Festival experience.
