Side Gate

Cosy 45 Seat Winter Pop-Up in the Old Propeller Site. Predominantly an outdoor venue adjacent a small park, our aim is to become the “village square”.

Propeller has been established in an old bus mechanics shed built on what used to be the botanical garden for the former North Fremantle Town Hall. A place where people come to eat, drink and have good conversation. We are fully licensed with capacity for 150 patrons. Split over a number of different sections, Propeller offers both indoor and outdoor dining. We will take bookings whilst always kee

ping enough seats for walk-ins. Our Chef, Kurt Sampson, heads up the kitchen team. His food is inspired by the flavours of North Africa, Spain and the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East regions.

Vale Kurt Sampson. Full of heart, overwhelmingly generous, talented and humble. One of a kind. It was a privilege to work alongside Kurt, to observe his quiet pride in identifying and nurturing new talent but mostly to see the joy Kurt experienced, and brought to so many, as people sat around a table with loved ones to share what he had created.
