It's Awards Season again and we have seen many many nominations for colleagues near and far on the back of a couple of months of industry voting in the lead up to
We are delighted to be recognised as WAs BEST GIN BAR yet again with annual nominations in this category for well over a Decade on the trot. Thank you to those that voted.
While recognition at this level for Frisk. Small Bar, our other Western Australian compatriots, and those familiar Names around the Country is great - our Industry is an incredibly difficult situation to maintain and sustain profitable Businesses, address Staff Wellbeing & create some element of Success (Financially / Culturally - however that looks to you etc etc ).
For the past year, we have wound back our opening hours to mediate staff burn out, in recent months we have reduced our staff level for Winter and will soon whittle down the Gin Collection to a "Greatest Hits" to reduce stock holding.
This isn't a sad story, but it is the reality of maintaining a Small Business post Covid with a cost of Living Crisis going on. We are doing what's necessary to maintain the longevity of Frisk now and into the future to ensure we can continue to provide our famous warm & welcoming atmosphere while making some of the best drinks in town.
Long story short - we are delighted for this recognition but take this opportunity to remind the Western Australian public to get out and support all those local Independent venues in Northbridge, Leederville, Subi, Vic Park, Scabs, Doubleview, Swanbourne, Beaconsfield, Freo and all over the State or risk losing them.
Protect your First date spot, the place for the after work bevvy, your last Birthday Party location or just some kick ass quirky little Gin Bar that's consistently showing that it's way too big for its Boots.
