Izakaya Grill are seeking a highly motivated culinary professional with experience in kitchen leadership for a modern Japanese restaurant in the heart of Northbridge.
The Head Chef will answer directly to the Executive Chef/Restaurant owner, and will work with the general manager to ensure smooth kitchen operation and overall guest satisfaction.
The Head Chef will execute the menu faithfully, and over time will develop features and menu items, complete food and equipment orders, train and mentor staff, perform inventory checks, cost menu items, assess waste prevention, and ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.

Business hours: 6pm-Late
Start Date: Immediately
Pay Range: $70-$80,000 annually depending on experience.
Candidates should have a positive and professional attitude that is respectful to guests and coworkers, a willingness to work in excess of 40 hours a week depending on restaurant needs, staffing levels, and season.
Kitchen management experience is required. Fine dining and/or japanese cuisine, charcoal grilling experience and formal culinary education are preferred, but not required.
We are also looking for friendly and vibrant front of house staff. Prior waitering/bartending/management experience is preferred but not required. $20-$30/hr depending on experience.
