A Curry is always a hit with the kids and their friends, so we quickly rustled up this no frills meal whilst entertaining kids and not having to spend hours in the kitchen! Result!

Ingredients:

500g Chicken (we used cut up thighs, but would next time prefer slightly larger pieces).

300mls single cooking cream

Two tablespoons Smokey paprika

One onion

100g butter (or oil)

350ml pasatta

1 cup of water

1 spoon of fresh ginger, 3 cloves of fresh garlic (or frozen if you like to prep your chilli ginger and garlic like we do).

Method-

Throw the chicken in bowl, whack in two spoons of tandoori paste and dash in the fridge.

In a pan, chuck in the butter and heat, then throw in the chopped onions (making sure they are chopped small) and leave it on medium heat to cook until brown.

Then spoon in one third of the jar of Tandoori marinade and cook up with the onions. Dash in ginger and garlic. Whack in the pasatta and the Smokey paprika. Cook for 5 minutes. Now add in the single cream and cook for another 5 minutes.

Chuck in the chicken, stir, cook, taste and add more of anything you want. We added a spoon of sugar, a bit of salt and topped with some coriander.

All SET!
Simple. Easy. Tasty.

There’s no wall in our kitchen when it comes to mixing Indian spices with some Old El Paso. Our IndiMex meal was so delish, we couldn’t stop eating!

We used a taco kit for the Mexican dried spices, and 5 spoons of Signature Tikka Paste.

Cooking method:
....

So for the mince, we used 500g of chicken mince. Half an onion, half a green capsicum and a handful of red capsicum.

👇

Start by frying the onions until they are translucent, then add the capsicum. Add the signature paste, followed by half of the taco mix packet. Finally add your mince to the pan and mash until the mince comes out fine. Leave to cook through and cook out any water released from the mince.

Our tacos were layered with the IndiMex mince, lettuce, tomato’s, salsa, capsicum, sour cream, guacamole and onions.

Let’s face it, 2021 will start off just as challenging, but we are lucky to see another year.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where global challenges are going to be normal and daily challenges will continue, but in a tricky world, we must always be grateful for what we have and all the things we achieve.

With mental health being a priority this year, we would urge you all to practice gratitude and then notice what impact that has on your psychological well-being.

All the best for 2021. Stay Safe, Stay grateful! 😘

Have you tried using our pepper paste in your sauce though? We used just two t-spoons of pepper paste in our sauce and then added the meat. The results were smashing- total flavour bomb! Topped with a mash and crisped, this hearty meal went down a treat with the family.

Remember, our pastes are not just pastes. They are marinades, sauces and flavour enhancers. Try them for yourselves.

Is a paste still a paste when you use it as a dip? Have you ever used our pastes as a dip? This is another great use for our flavoursome jars. You can add a spoon to your olive oil to dip with bread too. Yes! Our marinades can also be used as condiments to compliment your starter or even main meal. That’s what makes our products multi- use. We have even had customers spread it on toast!
