Looking back, I’ve made plenty of mistakes.

Some cost me money.
Some cost me time.
Some taught me lessons I wouldn’t trade for anything.

The truth is, every mistake has helped shape the way I run my business today and the experience I deliver to my clients.

If you’re a private chef, I hope this saves you from learning a few of these the hard way.

And if you’re not… hopefully it gives you a little insight into what goes on behind the scenes of running a private chef business.

After a few years as a private chef, you start noticing the same questions pop up again and again…
So I thought I’d answer a few of the big ones.
From what I need on the day, to what I bring with me, how the menus work and yes… whether I clean up afterwards (I do).
And before anyone asks…
No, I don’t strip.
Well… not unless my wife tells me what to charge. 😏

The Discovery chapter is closing. Welcome to JOURNEY.

For years I’ve cooked fine dining in people’s homes. Real plates. Real hands. Real food. That hasn’t changed.

What’s new is how I’m telling the story. Every dish in this video was cooked, plated, and photographed by me. AI brought my finished photos to life, so you can finally see what I imagine when I plate every dish. The bees, the butterflies, the snake, the snowmen, all animated from my own work.

I am the chef. I cook. I plate. I photograph. AI is the finishing touch that brings my work alive on the screen.

One chapter closes. Another begins.

The next chapter of my fine dining at home is coming.

JOURNEY.

To those who disagree with what I’ve done here, that’s totally fine. But ask yourself this in five years time when this is the new normal. I’m just early.
