Kane Calcite is a singer, songwriter from the NSW South Coast. With his earthy
sound fused seamlessly with a smooth blend of acoustic tunes and lyrics, Kane’s

Drawing inspiration from his innate love of nature and the power of human
connection, Kane crafts melodies that showcase the depth of his musical

His wholesome authenticity has solidified his reputation on the Australian music
scene which has seen him play headline shows and supports alongside Jack
Botts, Kim Churchill, Ash Grunwald, Taxi Ride, Thirsty Merc, 19-Twenty, Salt Tree
and The McCredie Brothers.
At festivals Kane has shared the stage with the likes of Matt Corby, The Dreggs,
Pacific Avenue, The Terrys and many more. He was invited back to the Winter
Wine Festival 2025, playing alongside a stellar lineup that included Xavier Rudd,
The Beautiful Girls, Pierce Brothers just to name a few. He showcased his music
at the 2024 Berry Writers Festival and is a popular inclusion at local community
music events. With radio play, media coverage, entertaining crowds at the i98FM
Illawarra Convoy festival and the co-founder of the Busking For Convoy
fundraiser initiative, Kane's popularity is on the rise.
His journey from his early years on the local punk rock scene to the energetic
frontman of surf rock / reggae band Calcite, Kane has fostered his own
