Mocha cake 🍫☕
For the Cake Sponge
Flour: 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
Sugar: 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
Cocoa powder: 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Baking powder: 1.5 teaspoons
Baking soda: ½ teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Oil: ½ cup vegetable or canola oil
Eggs: 3 medium eggs
Buttermilk: ½ cup
Brewed coffee: 1 cup hot, strong brewed coffee
For the Easy Mocha Glaze
Dark chocolate: 150g (roughly chopped)
Heavy cream: ⅓ cup (80ml)
Instant coffee powder: 1 tablespoon
Warm milk: 1 tablespoon
