যুদ্ধ ছিল, ত্যাগ ছিল, ছিল অসীম বেদনা।
তবু ছিল একটিই স্বপ্ন—স্বাধীনতা।

ভাঙা মানুষগুলো মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়িয়েছিল, লাল-সবুজের পতাকা উড়েছিল মুক্ত আকাশে।
