Steelsmith's Smokehouse My name is Ian Kent. I started crafting homemade BBQ sauces and won Grand Champion at my first BBQ competition. My wife Melanie has been by my side every step.

Due to Ribfest arriving in Cornwall this weekend, Steelsmith's Smokehouse has made the decision to adjust our hours of operation for this week.

βœ… Open: Friday, July 24, 2026οΏ½πŸ“ 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (or until sold out)οΏ½201 Ninth St. E., Canadian Tire Parking Lot, Cornwall

❌ Closed: Sunday, July 26, 2026

We know many people will be heading to Ribfest to enjoy the live music, carnival, food, and entertainment. To help prevent food waste at our end, we've decided it would be best to close on Sunday, as we expect much of the community will be at Lamoureux Park and we worry about being left with a bunch of food that cost quite a bit to make.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support of our small family business. We look forward to serving you on Friday, and we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Ribfest weekend.

πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ As a reminder, Steelsmith's Smokehouse also offers catering services, and we have been receiving a high volume of inquiries for upcoming events.

To ensure fairness to all of our customers, your event date is only secured once we have received your 50% non-refundable deposit. Until the deposit has been received, the date remains available and may be booked by another client.

If we do not receive your deposit or hear back from you and another customer requests the same date, we will unfortunately have to accept the confirmed booking, and your requested date will no longer be available.

We would also like to advise that event dates cannot be changed close to the scheduled event date. As your event approaches, we place orders with our suppliers for fresh meats and other food items based specifically on your booking. If the event is postponed after those orders have been placed, the food may no longer be usable for a future date, resulting in unnecessary waste and additional costs.

For this reason, once supplier orders have been placed, we are unable to accommodate date changes. We appreciate your understanding, as these policies allow us to manage our catering schedule fairly, minimize food waste, and continue providing the highest quality BBQ for all of our customers.
