Support Your Local Food Bank We are a group of 7 second year Social Service Workers at Northern College in Haileybury, ON. Our goal is to raise awareness about our local food banks.

We have started a campaign to raise awareness for our local food banks. We realize that food banks do garner a lot of attention around the holidays, and are able to meet the needs of the community at those times – however they need donations throughout the year. Our hope to help raise awareness is by maintaining a strong presence in the community and on social media networks. We aim to make a diff

erence in the lives of those in our communities who sometimes need the temporary assistance of a Food Bank – by making sure their shelves are stocked! We are asking local businesses, organizations, agencies, and individuals to help us with our cause by contributing to our campaign with donations of any type.
