Here’s my 4 foolproof ways to know your lobster is cooked perfectly every single time:

✅ 1. Timing
Boil for approximately 10-12 minutes depending on size.

✅ 2. Colour Change
The shell transforms from dark green/brown to a beautiful bright orange-red.

✅ 3. Antenna Test
Give the antenna a gentle tug. If it pulls away easily, your lobster is likely cooked through.

✅ 4. Tail Curl Test
A cooked lobster tail naturally curls inward. Think of it as nature’s little signal that it’s ready to eat.

Perfect lobster isn’t about guessing. It’s about knowing what signs to look for.

Not always.

Argentinian shrimp naturally have a pink/red colour even when RAW, which is why so many people accidentally undercook them.

The real signs of perfectly cooked shrimp are:
✔️ Opaque inside
✔️ Tender and juicy texture
✔️ Slight “C” shape
✔️ Gentle bounce when you bite

Starting this June, our cooked seafood boils will officially move to a WEEKEND PREORDER model (Saturday & Sunday).

As our business continues to grow, we’re becoming even more intentional about creating the best possible seafood experience for every customer, from preparation to pickup and delivery.

This new structure allows us to:
✨ Better plan weekly quantities
✨ Create a smoother ordering experience
✨ Offer limited weekly preorder spots
✨ Continue expanding our frozen kits, backyard boils, oyster catering & more

What this means:
• Cooked seafood boils will now be reserved in advance
• Pickup & delivery available Saturdays & Sundays ONLY
• Weekly preorder openings & cutoffs will be announced regularly

When we first started shipping our frozen seafood boil kits, we used insulated aluminum liners.

For many orders, they worked well.
But one customer reached out and said her seafood arrived thawed.

And honestly?
That feedback mattered to us.

Because if it’s not arriving frozen and perfect…
it’s not good enough.

So we made changes.

We’ve now upgraded to insulated foam shipping boxes to help keep our kits colder, longer, and safer during transit.
