Super limited number of donut rings available made this morning! Don’t forget, our fried donuts are just as tasty and squishy as ever but now made vegan.

But we also have loaves of bread, dinner rolls and pizza crust just made last night that have not been frozen yet!
Grab them while they are squishy before they go to their home in the freezer tonight.

German Chocolate Cake is one of those classic flavors that people often assume is off-limits in a nut-free bakery... but not at Bitty Birds!

Our German Chocolate cupcakes (and cakes!) can be made to order with a coconut filling, or to give a nod the the left out nuts, with a delicious blend of chopped sunflower and pumpkin seeds for that extra texture people love.

And here's another little secret... 🤫

The frosting isn't our regular chocolate buttercream. We use a special rich chocolate frosting made with real chocolate—the same decadent frosting featured on our brownies! It creates a smoother, more luxurious finish that's perfect for special occasions.

So if German Chocolate Cake has been on your wish list, we've got a nut-free way to make it happen.

Sometimes a recipe makeover surprises even the baker!

Over the winter break, I set out to make our famous donuts vegan. What I didn't expect was for them to turn out even better than before! Not only did they keep their soft, fluffy texture and delicious flavour, but their best eating window doubled from about 12 hours to a full 24 hours.

These beauties pictured are packed with tart rhubarb and topped with a sweet strawberry glaze for the perfect summer treat. Available June only! And here's the part I'm especially proud of: they're fried, gluten-free, vegan, and taste just like their traditional gluten- and egg-filled cousins.

Honestly, good luck finding another donut that checks all those boxes.

The sun is out and the berries are coming in! Well...at least my haskaps are!

Celebrate the sun with a fruit covered, celiac safe treat! These are just a couple of our fruit cakes and fruit flans that have be made so far this year.

Did you know we also make fruit tarts when things are in season? Keep an eye out for them at future markets while the season ramps up!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

A huge shout out and thank you to the wonderful Sara from Little Otter's Bakery

If you didn't know, this wonderful human made me my three different sized cookie cutters of my quail logo.

She gave me a hand this past week celebrating my birthday. I wanted to spoil myself with sugar cookies, but I can't decorate them to save my life and I just didn't have the time. So I got some of my gluten free sugar cookies to her and she went to work making them all pretty!

I love them Sara! Thank you so much!
