We are open for this long weekend 11-7 Friday to Monday. Please note that this is our last weekend until May. We thank you all for the great support this summer and hopefully we will see you this weekend for your fix of burgers,poutines and more. One of 3 Temagami groups to visit us this weekend.

Mike our local fire chief is setup for a few hours at our Latchford Beach House Snack Shack to sell the annual Dam Duck Race tickets. Race is August 23rd and 1st place is $1,000 2nd gets $300 and 3rd gets $200.

Great weekend for us at our Beach House Snack Shack for our Official Grand opening. Thanks to our mayor Sharon Gadoury for the Certificate of Appreciation . The same morning we were approached by Chris from Off the Chip Wagon and his producer to inform us that they want to have us on an episode of the series to tell our story. Chris heard about our hot spot and food so he showed up early Saturday morning to discuss the series. We will be making our Latchford Big Bully Smash Burger and our Poutine on the show. Thank you all that made our weekend a great success.

Today is our official grand opening with ribbon cutting this morning . Due to the forecast of inclement weather we will not have outside activities but we do have specials for today. Prime Angus beef hot dogs as well as Prime Angus Cheddar hot dogs for $5. All day as well we have a $5 Smash burger. Our burgers are prepared fresh every day with locally sourced beef. Hope to see you today at the Latchford Beach.

These young boys showed up at the Latchford beach this morning from an 11 day canoe trip that started in Temagami.They were wet,cold and tired. Although we are not open today I prepared chicken nuggets and onion rings to warm them up. These boys aged from 14 to 20 came with a YMCA group from Ny,Chicago,Ottawa and Toronto. One boy was so happy that he asked if he could hug me. They now will do a 3 day hike to complete the 14 day adventure.
