Last fall a good buddy of mine gave me this gorgeous stump of Elm to use as my carving stump. I absolutely love it and I plan to do a few things to help lighten it and also give it more functionality.

I will finally have a place to make my own spoon blanks!!😃

Hey guys I know it's been quite some time. As we all know life can get pretty busy. I just wanted to hop on here to let you all know I'm finally back after injuring myself just over a year ago.

On April 1st 2026 I finally got surgery on my dominant left arm and am just over a month into my 6 month recovery.
I've been working on so many ideas and am now ready to slowly start executing.

Can't wait to get back to carving and I have so many surprises for you all coming this year so STAY TUNED and LET'S GOOOOOO!!!🤘🏼

Hey everyone, as you've probably seen already I have been very quiet on this account.

For the past year I've been dealing with a shoulder injury, after waiting patiently the time has come for my surgery. Doctors are saying 6 months recovery time so during this time I will be working on where I would like to see this account going in my future.

My love for woodworking hasn't faded one bit it just has been on pause for a while 🙂

I have been working on new carving ideas and have been investing in new tools so stay tuned for more details during my recovery.

Thanks to a buddy from work I was able to get this beauty yesterday. This Elm stump will work very well for my new chopping block. Now I can forge for wood and start making my own spoon blanks.
