That’s a wrap on another season! ⚾️

It wasn’t the finish we were hoping for, but this team showed up every game, played hard, and represented The Grind with heart and determination.

A huge shout out to our rookies, Marc, Tanner, and Maggie! You stepped in, gave it everything you had, and were a great addition to the team this season.

Thank you to everyone who played, cheered us on, and supported us throughout the year.

We’re already looking forward to next season. See you on the diamond! 💙⚾

Did you know that on any given day, up to 30 percent of our guests at The Grind are senior citizens? And whole families will come in for lunch. At The Grind, our guests come from all age groups, and many situations. Thank you for giving them the hand up they need!

Final Score: Calvary Baptist 13, The Grind 7

It just wasn’t meant to be tonight. The gloves were hot, but unfortunately the bats were not, as we fell 13-7 to Calvary Baptist Church.

Despite the score, it was another great game!!!

Thank You, Marlyn! ❤️

After 10 incredible years of serving at The Grind, it’s time to say “thank you” to someone who has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

Marlyn has faithfully volunteered as a shift lead from the very beginning. She walked with us through our move from our downtown location to the old firehall, stood alongside us through the challenges of COVID, and has been a steady source of compassion, encouragement, and hope every step of the way.

Whether she was serving coffee, preparing meals, welcoming a new face, or simply taking the time to listen, Marlyn treated everyone with kindness, dignity, and love. Her servant’s heart has touched countless lives, and her impact on The Grind will continue long after her final shift.

While we will miss seeing her smiling face each week, we are so grateful for the ten years she has given to this ministry and to our community.

Marlyn, thank you for your unwavering dedication, your faithful service, and the love you have shared with our friends. You have truly helped make The Grind the welcoming place it is today.

As you begin this next chapter, we pray that God richly blesses you with good health, joy, and many wonderful adventures. Thank you for everything. You will always be part of The Grind family. ❤️
