❤️ Community Donation Drive for First Nations Affected by the Wildfires ❤️
Like so many of you, we've been heartbroken watching the devastation caused by the wildfires across Northern Ontario. Some First Nation communities have lost homes, buildings, and so much more, and many families have been forced to evacuate.
As an Indigenous community ourselves, we know what it means to come together when people need us.
Mi Sueño and Ben's Table would like to organize a community donation drive to help support those affected.
📦 We are currently accepting donations of:
• Non-perishable food
• Toiletries and personal hygiene items
• Baby supplies (diapers, wipes, formula)
• New socks and underwear
• Pet food and pet supplies
• Gift cards for groceries, gas, or essentials
• lightly used clothes and shoes (all ages)
We are also reaching out to Nishnawbe Aski Nation to make sure the items we collect go where they are needed most and to arrange transportation.
If you'd like to help, please drop your donations off at Mi Sueño during our regular business hours. As we receive more information, we'll keep everyone updated on the most urgently needed items and our collection deadline.
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference.
