We're almost there little one.

Feeling all the dueling thoughts;
How do I love you as much as my Jo?
Cannot wait to not be pregnant, but also this is 99% the last time I'll ever be here again. And that is both a relief and completely terrifying.
Am I really strong enough to honour my past birth experiences while writing a new story for myself this time?

Fall is my favourite. Always has been, always will be. 🍂🍁🥕🍎🎃
One of my reasons is the satisfaction of harvesting and enjoying the work of summer. After an epic carrot fail last year, this year I was finally rewarded for good behaviour! Garden carrots means: carrot cake, borscht and delicious carrot-top pesto!

Today I have the pleasure of preparing warm, nourishing meals for a 2nd-time mama. I can't take too much credit though! She picked some delicious recipes. My kitchen smells great.

If you follow me personally, you've probably seen my announcement already. But in case you haven't...
I finally feel ready to share this news with the world! My sweet girl is going to be a big sister and I have the honour of bringing this new soul into the world sometime around January 2026.
2025 has definitely been a year of growth and challenges. We found out this nugget had decided to make us parents again the SAME WEEK I STARTED THIS BUSINESS 😅
I'm still deciding exactly how my maternity leave will look, and I'll make more announcements as we get closer. But for now, I'll say that Tayler'd Tending will be taking a year-long pause in 2026. But I'll be back!!
Get your orders in before December 1st or until my body says I'm done 😆

SURPRISE! I'm still here!

Why does marketing during the summertime feel so much harder to keep up with? Maybe because life threw some curveballs I've been leaning in and adjusting to.... Maybe there's a special announcement coming soon?? 😜

Since I've been offline, I've been soaking in my time away from the classroom in a few beautiful ways:
- Watching my incredible little girl learn and grow.
- Attending an amazing weekend away .evolution.festival with some of my favourite women ❤️
- Tending to my little garden and its delicious offerings.
- Continuing to offer my meals and broths as a-la-carte purchases!

It's a warm, fresh muffin day over here. I'm still very much learning the ins and outs of this "business" stuff. Self-employed people: what gave you your big break? Where and how did you find your niche clientele? Would love to hear stories and feedback.

No matter how you choose to feed your baby, your body NEEDS nourishment in order to heal and flourish postpartum.
But... did you know, on average, it takes 30% of a mother's daily energy to produce breast milk? In comparison, it takes only around 20% of our daily energy just to feed our brain! That's an enormous energy requirement that needs to be tended to. Proper fluids, proteins, minerals and vitamins are essential. Who will be feeding you while you feed your baby?

I wish I could go back and tell her...

- That life was about to humble her right down to her roots.
- That only baby gets to decide how they enter this world.
- That her fear, tears, pain and patience would all be worth it.
- That she would never be the same woman, and that's ok.
- That her experience would put her on the path to meet women that would change her life forever ❤️
- That without her, Tayler'd Tending wouldn't be here!
