"Your season must be starting up soon!"

Actually... it's about to end! Contrary to what most people expect, we do not follow the traditional produce box/farmers market calendar. In fact, we intentionally do the opposite.

Why? We are filling a gap. A lack of access to local produce during most of the calendar year. That means we leave space for people to buy directly from farmers, grow their own (or go on holiday!) during the summer months, and fill the gap from September-June when it's harder and people are often in need of the convenience of a subscription.

So if you're looking to start up a produce box subscription, you have the rest of June to join us, and then you can find a local farmer to buy directly from in July & August until we start back up!

🌾 How lucky are we to have our very own native wild rice growing in Canada? And how lucky are we to be able to offer it to our community?? Thanks to NWC Wild Rice, an indigenous-owned company in Saskatchewan, we have two varieties of rice available to you: the Grade A Long and the Grade A Broken varieties.

Meet Tyler Patterson, a young local leader and advocate who puts values into action. Through offering land acknowledgments in both English and Wolastoqey, they fundraise for Kehkimin, a Wolastoqey immersion school for children in the Fredericton area.
