To kick off summer we bring you this lovely and playful coffee.

You probably know that Ethiopia is the birthplace of the Arabica coffee species, it’s also the cradle of human evolution. Our coffee, Ardi, is named after Ardipithecus Ramidus, believed to be the oldest hominid skeleton found dating back to 4.4 million years.

Developed by one of our long-time Ethiopian importers, Samuel Demisse of Keffa Coffee, Ardi makes a great companion to blooming cherry blossoms and brighter mornings.

We love Ardi for its consistent high quality, elegant ripe fruit and floral expressions.

You are invited to try Ardi at ourFree Public Tasting this week at 2pm any any of our locations.

Mont Des Cats is a cows milk pasteurized cows milk cheese from France. Originally produced in the 19th century by Trappist monks from l’Abbaye du Mont des Cats, this traditional cheese’s rind is brushed with a mixture of rennet and brine. The milk was originally collected by the monastery from the neighbouring farms it oversaw, but later in 20th century this cheese became the central focus of agricultural activity in its area.

Enjoy one of our most popular coffees from our longest standing relationship with Gruppo Terruno Nayarita.

GTN supports several coffee growing communities located on the slopes of Volcan San Juan, located northeast of Puerto Vallarta. Farmer members benefit from a fully traceable QC system that has earned them higher premiums for quality helping to ensure long-term sustainability.

This was the first coffee destination we visited almost three decades ago.

This formative visit continues to inform our core values. Transparency, sustainability, and fair pay make up the essential ingredients in our definition of quality.

As a result, our relationships have led to the development of exclusive lots to ensure that the quality of our coffee meets our highest standards.
