Yesterday, we were welcomed to share the very first meal in our good friend's home after some lengthy renovations.

Jack fired up the charcoal BBQ and cooked one of our pasture-raised chickens, and we have to say, it was one of the best chickens we've ever had! It was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We can raise them with care on pasture, but ours never turn out looking quite this good.

Thank you Jack for including us in such a meaningful milestone. It was an honour to share your first dinner in your beautiful home. The meal was so delicious that we all forgot to take a photo before it disappeared from our plates.

It's a hot day on the farm and thank the powers that be for shade, a nice breeze and a big barn fan investment. The broilers are hot but they're enjoying the fresh air and pasture!

Life has been busy on the farm and off the farm, mom and dad both work day jobs so we juggle the farm with work, life and kids. It's a blessing to be able to do what we do here on the farm and wouldn't have it any other way. We appreciate each and every one of you and it wouldn't be possible without everyone's support!

Today we took our first round of broilers for processing this AM, which means we will have frozen whole chicken available. We can also do fresh but will need to be ordered and picked up when we bring it home.

There's something magical and peaceful to this trip, mornings are early and so peaceful. We put all of our hearts and time into raising these birds ethically and naturally. So when we hand them off to Brennan Poultry, we know our birds journey will be respectfully handled so that we can honestly bring you the best chicken raised ethically and naturally.
