Santiago!!! WOW! That was one helluva evening in your city with exploding flavors and bursting laughters. Sammy Oh you killed it with the Korean cuisine. Every dish was special to the T. Our hosts Daniela and Sebastian - your hospitality and stunning house couldn’t have been a better place to host this special night. Pia & Pablo - Thank you for baking special breads for us!! How do we get them in other parts of the world? They were truly one of the best we’ve had. Most importantly, thank you Cecilia for reaching out and making this possible.

It was the last Food For Thought event before the end of our one year travels. We feel sad that the journey is coming to an end, but we have memorable friendships and amazing pictures to look back at - thanks to our incredible photographer Gaurabh Mathure who captured these beautiful moments throughout the year!

ALSO, some exciting news coming up for the next phase of Food For Thought. So don’t be sad and keep an eye out here! ;)

Know your Korean chef for this month's FxT - the amazing Sammy Oh :) He says "Despite being given a Hebrew name “Samuel” by my parents, both of whom immigrated to the US from South Korea, I have been able to maintain my “Korean-American" identity, somewhat, through food. I was born in Brooklyn ( ) and have lived predominantly in the NY metropolitan region. Far from a chef but I enjoy the pleasures of cooking, especially Korean cuisine, for several reasons. I believe it is an important social, cultural, environmental and to some degree a spiritual act which makes me feel more connected to my roots, as a Korean, as a human. Plus, Hansik is pretty f*ck*ing delicious. Cooking is also therapeutic as it forces me to transform from consumer to producer; actually making something with my own two hands. Everyone should do it, more often. I’m also a big fan of ‘sobremesa’, a Spanish word/concept which continues to draw me back to South America time and time again."

He has shared the menu with us and we can't wait to cook and eat it with you all.
