We are searching for new FOH MANAGER 😌

After 3+ years with the most wonderful dedicated FOH manager, we are on the search for our next! We are looking for someone who, not only who has the experience and skills, but who will align with our values and vision.

Requirements:
✦ 2+ years of FOH experience.
✦ Leadership skills.
✦ A strong work ethic.
✦ German and English language.
✦ Innate knowledge of south East Asian (especially Singaporean/Malaysian) food and culture is preferred.

Must be available evenings and weekends. March start date. About 35 hours / week.

Priority will be given to folks from the Asian diaspora. FLINTA and BIPOC folks highly encouraged to apply!

We are so very thankful to have shared this year with you 🐍

2025 was a very challenging year –we learned a lot and we embraced every test!

And, of course, we also had lots of fun 😉

We got very giggly with tons of fishes, got egg-married, gathered around with our cuties ( ), Maryana showed us her matching-plates talent, we found an ugly duckling, Megh ate up her Meg era (.ie was there to witness), our garden grew some cute peppers, opening our shutter included tons of twirling, every single pop-up warmed our hearts, served you with the sweetest smiles, found the most proud-tiny shroom ( was obsessed), Maryana and .alic continued to serve, we let go our dearest and, of course, you showed up every single time 🤧

We hope you enjoy the winter holidays and have a great NYE, we’ll open from the 8th of December to welcome you with the warmest Laksa bowl and our deep gratitude 🧡

Getting ready to wrap up the end of the year with the coziest dessert: Pandan Bread ‘n’ Butter Pudding with Whipped Cream 🧈

On Saturday July 26th is Berlin’s 2025 Internationalist Q***r Pride for Liberation and to allow our team and community to support the demonstrations –we’ll be closing the restaurant at 3pm.

Following Ma-Makan’s tradition to nurture loved ones at the demonstrations, we’ve prepared a special brunch menu for this occasion:
