Wow... in just a few days we've already had so many amazing donations dropped off! ❤️

Rugby boots, jerseys, shorts, headgear and training shirts—the generosity from our community has been incredible, and we're so excited to see what the next few months will bring.

There's absolutely no rush to donate. I won't be heading back to Fiji for a little while yet, so the donation box will be here at The Royal waiting for your pre-loved rugby gear.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for getting behind this cause. Together, we're going to make a real difference in the lives of so many young rugby players.

A little piece of Morpeth's history has found its home in our main bar.

We've just put up a stunning historic photo featuring The Royal, the old bakery and the railway station, taken around 150 years ago. It's incredible to see just how much and how little has changed over the years.

My name is Maisy, and I'm the Publican of The Royal Hotel Morpeth.

As many of you know, I was incredibly lucky to grow up in the beautiful islands of Fiji. In a few months, I'll be heading back home to visit my family, and I wanted to take the opportunity to give something back to the community that raised me with the help of the amazing community we've built here at The Royal.

We're launching **The Royal Rugby Box Donation Drive!** 🏉

We're collecting:
• Second-hand rugby boots
• Rugby balls
• Rugby jerseys, shorts and training gear

If you have any pre-loved rugby equipment that's no longer being used, we'd love for you to donate it.

Growing up in Fiji, I saw first-hand how much rugby means to so many children. Every afternoon, kids would be out playing barefoot, using a plastic water bottle or even a coconut as a rugby ball, making the most of what they had.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help give these kids the chance to play the game they love with proper equipment and continue building grassroots rugby across the islands.

If you'd like to support this cause, simply drop your donations into **The Royal Rugby Box** at The Royal Hotel Morpeth.
