HI. MY NAME IS IGOR.
I have been working with coffee for around 15 years. I decided to move to Denmark 8 years ago because I was really motivated and inspired by the advanced coffee culture.
It has been a nice journey. At the moment, we are doing something really exciting, which is Komuna Coffee. A beautiful project, introducing Mexican coffee to people in Scandinavia.
Mexico is a beautiful and impressive coffee producer and offers amazing coffees. We decided that it would be really interesting to enrich the whole culture with coffees from Mexico, which are not so common in Europe.
I had the pleasure to visit a farm in Mexico. We were sleeping, eating, and living in a small hut. All the smells of the food and nature around us struck me, because they reflected the taste of the coffee.
I can describe Mexican coffee as a lot of intense sweetness, but subtle, and then a combination of spices, food, and crops that are growing around the coffee trees. It merges very nicely together, and it is such a nice experience to handle and brew the coffees from Mexico.
