I will be shutting down this account soon, since Renee's Beach Cafe has been sold. I thank you all for your engagement with us on this account. It turned into something much bigger than just another coffee shop on the beach. I think we have created a special community of friends (who are like chosen family, as Jay would say ❤️‍🩹) that we will love and cherish for years to come, no matter where we all are... 😘🤗. And Molly says hi there! 🤭

Wow, I've been putting off this announcement, as I'm not sure how to say it... Renee's Beach Cafe is sold.
A very nice gent came in one morning and wanted to buy my business. My first response was sorry, not for sale. But then I started thinking about it. Did I have an exit plan? No. Was I ready to give it up? Also no.. so I did it anyway. 10 years from an idea in my head to a successful sale. I'll take that as a win. ❤️.
I need to thank Big Lee for really helping out with advertising early on and for helping me to meet the best people here. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Lee. Also Junio who helps me close every day and who sends over lunch if he thinks I'm too busy to eat... Thank you. You and Lucilla are my family here ❤️
And to all my customers and clients over the years, some who we have since lost, I love you all. Thank you for helping to make my little cafe a happy place for all.
Eva and Ted are taking over, and they will do a great job. They plan to keep the same menu, and vibe. I wish them all the success in the world for a smooth transition.
As hard as this is emotionally, I think it's the right decision for me at this time. I'll still be popping by for coffee while I'm here. Let's give Eva a great start! 🤗😘❤️☕🫖
