Hi everyone,
I wasn’t going to post about this, but as so many people have been asking, I wanted to address it directly and stop any rumours.
Sadly, it’s true that we were broken into again on Sunday evening. This is the second time in just three weeks. It’s heartbreaking to see it happen again, but the police are actively investigating and have gathered significant evidence, including CCTV footage.
I’m not sharing this to ask for sympathy. I simply wanted to keep everyone informed, as many of you have noticed increased police activity and have been asking what happened.
The saddest part is that this isn’t just affecting us. A number of businesses across Barrow have been targeted recently. To all of those business owners going through the same thing, we’re thinking of you. These incidents can knock you down, but they won’t define us.
The vast majority of people in Barrow are honest, hardworking and kind-hearted. It’s only a very small number of individuals causing this damage, and they should be held accountable for their actions.
As a community, we are stronger than those who try to bring us down. We will keep moving forward, we will continue supporting one another, and we won’t give up.
