Well, it’s our last day at Plessey Road side
Sitting here reflecting on the last 12 months, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come. We started with a blank canvas, a lot of hope, and absolutely no guarantees that any of it would work. There was no perfect plan, no roadmap …
What followed has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, stressful, exciting and proudest years of our lives.
We’ve built an incredible team around us with the best Head Chef and most dedicated team, we’ve served hundreds of people on match days, celebrated at presentations, made friendships, welcomed new faces, and watched something that started as an idea grow into something we’re proud of.
It hasn’t always been easy. There have been plenty of early mornings, late nights, obstacles, and lessons learned along the way. Some ideas have worked brilliantly, others haven’t, but every single experience has helped shape who we are and where we’re heading.
The biggest thing we’ve learned is that none of this is possible without people. The support we’ve received from our customers, staff, family, friends, and everyone at Blyth Spartans has meant the world to us. Every coffee bought, every meal ordered, every kind word, recommendation, and show of support has helped us get to where we are today.
This may be the end of our first season and our last day at Plessey Road entrance , but it certainly isn’t the end of the journey.
In fact, it feels like the beginning….
We’ve got big plans for Shield & Skillet, lots of exciting ideas we’re working on behind the scenes, and a real belief that the best is yet to come.
So thank you. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and being part of the journey so far.
Here’s to the next chapter. 💚 let’s make today one to remember, deliveries and collections 12-5pm
Watch this space… exciting things are coming 👀 and we’ll see you all next week in our new home 🏡
