Today is Shark Awareness Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of the vital role sharks play in keeping our oceans healthy and helping to change the misconceptions that often surround these incredible animals.

With a name like Royal Sharks Poker, it felt like the perfect opportunity to celebrate our own Sharks too. 🦈👑

🦈👑 JASON'S GOLIATH JOURNEY STARTS THIS MONTH! ♠️

Back in February, Jason Daniels won the Royal Sharks Poker Megalodon Championship, earning himself our £5,000 sponsorship package.

That sponsorship was created to give our players opportunities they might not otherwise have, and this month Jason is using part of it to take on one of the biggest poker festivals in Europe... Goliath!!

It's brilliant to see one of our own getting this opportunity, and I know everyone involved with Royal Sharks Poker will be right behind him.

Jason has put a lot of work into his poker over the last year, and winning the Megalodon was a fantastic achievement. Seeing him now heading to Goliath as part of that reward is exactly what the sponsorship was designed for.

Of course, Jason won't be the only Shark making the trip to Coventry...

We've got plenty of Royal Sharks players heading to Goliath over the coming weeks, all chasing their own goals and making memories along the way. Whether you're taking your first shot at the festival or you're back for another year, I genuinely hope you all have an incredible experience.
