Hearing  the news about Coughlan’s Bakery closing all of its locations has 100% made me stop and think.
Not just about one bakery, but about what it represents.
Behind every local business there is a story.
A story of someone who believed enough in a dream to build something from the ground up. A story of early mornings, late nights, and years of showing up—even on the days when it wasn’t easy.
Small businesses are built with heart. Tears are sweat. 
They’re built by people who remember your name, celebrate your milestones, support you when its wet i’m in the middle of a heat wave where memories are made and little ones smile at you
They become part of the  community They create jobs for our neighbours, provide opportunities for young people entering the workforce, support other local shops and help keep our local economy growing . When a small business succeeds, the positive impact reaches far beyond just one business it helps each others
In today’s economic climate, life feels difficult for everyone. We all have to make hard choices, and everyone is doing the best they can.
It’s about remembering that every time we choose to support a local business, we help dorking by helping keep people employed, encouraging entrepreneurship, strengthening our local economy, and supporting the passion, dedication, and countless hours that someone has poured into creating something truly amazing
Too often, we don’t realize what a place means to us until it’s gone.
Everyone say “ I used to love going there.”
“I can’t believe they’re closing.”
Maybe we don’t have to wait until it’s closes
If there’s a local café you love, a bakery you always talk about, a florist, a bookstore, a boutique, or a family restaurant, visit them. Share their business. Tell your friends. Leave a review. Use them when you can.
Because every pound spent locally goes back in to YOUR TOWN and make your town strong and a place where you want to shop eat 
Thriving communities don’t happen by accident. It team work community spirit and shopping locally
