Menu coming soon!

I want to do so much more than my capacity allows, but I’ll calm doon and bring the extra things to you on weekly specials.

For now it’s a few amazing sandwiches; if I don’t say so myself! various fried chicken options including Korean and buffalo, veggie options, loaded fries and burgers. Just what proved to be desirable overall. If something isn’t on the menu you were previously fond of and we can accommodate the request, we will do our best.

Tentatively opening on Thursday the 30th of this month. Waiting for the venue to formally announce it tho many of you may already be aware. I say tentatively because there are always hiccups.

My tummy is full of butterflies! I also want to disclose all my amazing team have committed to coming back to work with me. That’s super special to me because at least I know I was good leader to them and their desire to come back is such a joyful feeling. I appreciate them so much more than tongue can tell. Any organisation is nothing without their staff.

Was thinking of having some grab and go sandwiches available with crisps/slaw option for lunch in case you’re in a hurry. Creative options made fresh daily. What do you think?

Buzzing is the word for what I’m feeling!

Been working on the menu …a lot…I should probably state now, it’s not a large menu like before. It’s a pop up, so we’ll have about 10-12 items. We will also have starters and desserts.

We’ll be focusing mainly on hot sandwiches, burgers, fried chicken, a Vegan/Vegetarian and GF options & of course loaded fries. All house made, fresh and delicious.

Please support Guillame and the beautiful Coylet on this, their opening of Fjord & Flare this weekend, which starts tomorrow, Friday July 3rd.

The past is the past and unfortunately things don’t always work out the way we idealise them, trust I know how that goes. If you haven’t had a chance to try Guillames food, you must give it a go. It’s creative, fresh and delicious. Not to mention the amazing setting he’s offering it in.

So I have some great news guys. We’ll be back in operation very soon. Targeting the last week in July but there’s lots to be done. We’re no longer Local Hero sadly but I’ve named the page “Hero popup”

I’ll release more details and information as we go along.

I can’t tell you how excited I am. I’ve been so miserable after having to close. It’s taken me 50 years of life to realise what a passion cooking is for me. It’s a gift and a privilege to be able to give it another go.

I know I’m redundant and incessant. But I miss my cafe. All that hard work just washed away into nothingness. The freedom and freedom of expression. My beautiful staff and amazing customers. Just gone. If soul destroying means anything, it’s the definition of what I feel. Been looking at spaces in Lochgilphead. Hmmmm….maybe it’s time for a change.
