🌟👨‍🍳✨ High-End Hen Do Dining — What a Gorgeous Evening! ✨🌟👨‍🍳

I’m finally getting round to posting this beautiful hen do private dining evening from last month, and honestly… what a lovely one it was! 👰‍♀️🥂✨

I had the absolute pleasure of cooking for Emily and her guests in Guilden Sutton, and they were such a warm, fun and welcoming group from start to finish 😊

The evening had everything I love about private dining — lovely people, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful food, plenty of laughter and that special “everyone around the table” feeling 👨‍🍳✨

The menu was a high-end Mediterranean-inspired hen do dinner, including:

🍞 Warm rosemary focaccia & Mediterranean dipping board
Creamy whipped feta, basil pesto oil and aged balsamic with extra virgin olive oil.

🍓 Baked burrata with balsamic strawberries, Parma ham, sourdough and basil pesto
Rich, creamy, fresh and full of flavour.

🐟 Pan-seared sea bass
Served with crushed lemon and basil new potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes, capers, olives and a light white wine, garlic and herb sauce.

🍰 Classic tiramisu with pistachio cream. A rich, creamy finish to the evening.😋

And the extra special part… we finished with a little tiramisu class for the bride 👰‍♀️🍰✨ Such a lovely touch and a really fun way to end the meal!

A huge thank you to Emily and all the guests for being so amazing — it was an absolute pleasure cooking for you all, and I’m so grateful to have been part of such a special celebration 💗

I’ve just got back from cooking a lovely relaxed 60th birthday dinner at The Old Shippon in Barnacre, and I had to post this one straight away because it was such a brilliant evening 😊👨‍🍳🌟

The guests were absolutely amazing — so warm, relaxed and welcoming — and it was a real pleasure to cook for them all.

Tonight’s Greek-inspired menu was:

🥬 Golden spinach & feta filo parcels
Delicate filo pastry filled with spinach, creamy feta and fresh herbs, baked until golden and crisp, served with cool herby tzatziki on dressed salad leaves.

🍗 Skillet-roasted chicken with feta glaze
Succulent skillet-roasted chicken breast finished with a whipped feta glaze, served with burst cherry tomatoes, olives, warm pita bread and roasted lemon potatoes.

🍯 Baklava cheesecake
A luxurious baked cheesecake inspired by traditional baklava, layered with crisp filo, spiced walnuts and finished with honey.

Such a joyful evening from start to finish — beautiful food, lovely guests and a really relaxed birthday atmosphere ✨

I’m a little late posting this one because it’s been such a busy few weeks, but during last month’s heatwave I had the absolute pleasure of cooking for Chloe’s Shin Dig at Newstead Grove — and what an amazing day it was! 😎☀️

The sun was shining, the BBQ was fired up, the guests were absolutely brilliant, and the whole day had such a lovely relaxed summer feel. Honestly, it was exactly the kind of event I love cooking for — great people, great atmosphere and plenty of food on the table! 👨‍🍳🔥✨

For this one I cooked a Greek & British BBQ Feast, bringing together smoky BBQ favourites with fresh Mediterranean flavours 🇬🇷🇬🇧

On the menu we had:
🔥 BBQ Greek chicken souvlaki skewers
🔥 Greek lamb kofta skewers
🔥 Honey & mustard glazed sausages
🔥 Mini cheeseburger sliders
🥔 Crispy Greek lemon potatoes
🥗 Greek salad & creamy potato salad
🌽 Buttery herby corn on the cob
🫓 Warm flatbreads
🥣 Homemade dips and sauces
🍓 Eton mess nests
🍫 Milk chocolate mousse pots

It was hot, it was smoky, it was full of flavour, and I genuinely had such a brilliant time cooking for everyone. A huge thank you to Chloe and all the guests for being so welcoming — you were an absolute pleasure to cook for 😊✨

🌟What an absolute pleasure it was to cook for Claire and her lovely guests at the beautiful Bainland Country Park. From start to finish they made me feel so welcome, and Claire was an absolute pleasure to communicate with throughout the whole booking. Thank you for being such fantastic hosts! ❤️

This evening's fine dining menu included...

🌿 Starter 🥂 Pan-Seared Scallops Served on a vibrant minted pea purée with delicate lemon & saffron-infused butter. Special thanks to Bradley's Fish for providing the amazing scollaps!😋❤️ I highly recommend them and I'll definitelybe using them again.

🥩 Main Course Prime Beef Fillet cooked to perfection, served with wild mushrooms, blistered asparagus, charred shallots, buttery dauphinoise potatoes and a rich peppercorn sauce.

🍮 Dessert Classic Sticky Toffee Pudding with luxurious orange-scented clotted cream. 🍊✨

There's nothing better than bringing restaurant-quality dining into the comfort of a beautiful holiday lodge, allowing everyone to relax, celebrate and enjoy the evening together while I take care of everything. 👨‍🍳🍷

This week I had the pleasure of cooking a bespoke Italian buffet feast for a lovely group of family and friends enjoying an active holiday together in beautiful Ravenscar.

What an absolute pleasure it was to cook for Sharon and her wonderful group of friends last week!

From the moment I arrived, Sharon was the perfect host – warm, welcoming. The atmosphere was brilliant all night, full of laughter, stories, great food and plenty of catching up between old friends.

🌿 Pan-Seared Scallops with silky pea purée, crisp pancetta, lemon zest and tartare sauce. Thankyou to Bradley's Fish they're where amazing 😘🤌

🌼 Stuffed Courgette Flowers filled with whipped goat's cheese, chives and parsley, finished with honeyed hazelnuts

🥩 Prime Beef Fillet with wild mushrooms, charred shallots, chunky chips and a rich peppercorn sauce

🐟 Pan-Baked Haddock with chive, saffron and lemon butter, served with dauphinoise potatoes and buttered greens

🍐 Rhubarb & Pear Crumble with toffee apple compote and vanilla ice cream

🧀 Luxury Cheeseboard with artisan cheeses, crackers and classic accompaniments

A special mention has to go to the beautiful courgette flowers from Westlands UK Fully edible and absolutely stunning, they always create a real talking point at the table. 🌼

And possibly the compliment of the night... the crumble was apparently "better than Grandma's!" 😲😂 Now that's the ultimate compliment 😀.
