🏕️🌍 We're off on an epic adventure! 🌍🏕️

This week, we're heading to Wings International Jamboree at Great Windsor Park with our amazing 2nd Wigton Moor Guides! 💙

Because we'll be away making lifelong memories, Cinnammmm will be closed from Saturday 25 July until Sunday 2 August, reopening Monday 3 August when our Summer Holiday Specials return… starting the week with Pink Mondays! 💗

We'd also like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our transport fundraiser a few weeks ago. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible £250! Every cake bought, raffle ticket entered and donation made has helped make this adventure possible, and we're so grateful. 🤎

✨ Karachi 2026… what a gift. ✨

Wow… two weeks of memories, storytelling, colour, laughter and connection. A city of contrasts, yet somehow full of so many overlaps too—cultures, faiths, food, history, generations and people all woven together.

In a place that many describe as chaotic, I found stillness. I found peace. I found comfort and a sense of safety. Whilst I was often warned about the noise and the dangers, what I experienced was kindness, generosity and open hearts. Dear friends welcomed me in, and strangers quickly became people who now feel like family.

I packed a skipping rope and my laptop, convinced I'd need to "keep busy." Neither left my bag.

It turns out my mind, body and soul were asking for something completely different... to slow down, to be present, to observe, to listen and simply to be. Sometimes the greatest productivity comes from giving yourself permission to pause.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Residence for your incredible hospitality. You didn't just give me somewhere to stay—you gave me memories I'll treasure for a lifetime. 🩷

And thank you to everyone who followed along with my stories, sent messages and shared the journey with me. It made being away feel even more special knowing so many of you were travelling with me in spirit.

Now it's time to gently ease back into reality. Day job on Monday, a little prep, a little shopping, and then back to Cinnammmm, ready to serve up what we love most... the best bons around, really good coffee and, of course, a good chat too. ☕🍥

Time to breathe...

Well, I'm taking a proper break. Like a full-on, switch-off-the-ovens, close-the-laptop, no bakery and no events job kind of break!

As we reach the end of our first six months at Cinnammmm, I'm incredibly proud of everything we've created. From the bakes and coffees to the conversations, friendships and familiar faces that have become part of our days, it's been quite the journey already.

One of the things I love most is seeing a real sense of community growing within our little colourful corner of Chapel Allerton. Whether you've visited once or you're one of our regulars, thank you for being part of it 🩷🥰

I'll be taking some time to rest, recharge and make a few memories of our own, and hopefully we'll bring you along for the ride too (internet connection permitting! 😆). Keep an eye on our stories to see what we're getting up to.

💙✨ Fundraiser Day at Cinnammmm ✨💙

Some of you may know that alongside my day job and running Cinnammmm, I'm also an active volunteer with Girlguiding.

This summer, myself and two fellow leaders will be taking 13 young people to the Wings Jamboree in Windsor — an incredible international camp experience filled with adventure, friendship, learning and memories that will last a lifetime 🌍⛺

To help raise funds towards transport costs, the girls will be hosting a fundraiser outside Cinnammmm on:

There'll be:

🧁 Homemade bakes
🎯 Games and activities
😊 Plenty of smiles!

We'll also be joined by the lovely Amy from , who'll be around for a chat about her new business and upcoming summer camps 💃
