It takes seconds to watch a cake come together on a reel...

But the reality is very different.

The actual making of a bespoke wedding cake usually takes 5–7 days, depending on the design and decorations. That’s days of baking, filling, covering, stacking, creating sugar flowers, wafer paper work, and adding every tiny detail by hand.
And that’s not even counting everything that happens beforehand: emails, consultations, sketching concepts, design proposals, tasting boxes, planning, and preparation that often begins months before a single cake layer is baked.

What looks effortless in a 10-second video is the result of countless hours of craftsmanship, creativity, and care.

And that’s exactly why bespoke is so special. 🤍

Not necessarily to trends — just to details people normally overlook.

The shape of a sleeve.
The finish on a plate.
How fabric sits when it’s slightly undone.
The difference between something feeling styled versus forced.

A lot of my cake ideas start there rather than from other cakes.
