Camino was inspired by a life-changing road trip in the summer of 1984, driving across Spain from north to south and back in blazing heat in a tiny old black mini. The landscape, the people and the lifestyle made a deep and everlasting impression, and left a burning need to recreate a piece of España back home in London. Camino King's Cross:

A great wine list doesn't happen by accident.

Last week, part of our team travelled to Rías Baixas in Galicia, one of Spain's most exciting wine regions, to taste, walk, and listen their way through it. Days spent under stone archways tasting flight after flight of Albariño. Mornings in the vineyards themselves, learning how the Atlantic, the granite and the centuries-old pergola system shape every glass. Evenings spent with the growers who make the wines we love.

This is how every bottle on our list finds its place. Not pulled from a catalogue. Chosen. By the people who'll pour it for you, after meeting the people who made it.
We taste hundreds to land on the few worth bringing back. That's the quiet work behind a Camino wine list. And it's worth every mile.

A little corner of Cádiz, on a plate. 🐟

New in: Seared Yellowfin Tuna over Periñaca Gaditana, a bright Andalusian salsa of fresh tomato, gordal olive, shallot, garlic, mint and basil, dressed with cold-pressed Montes de Toledo D.O.P. olive oil and a squeeze of lemon.
And the pairing? Old Spanish wisdom says it best: if it swims, it loves a chilled glass of sherry. This one swims beautifully.

Every May, Jerez de la Frontera transforms for the Feria del Caballo. A week of horses, flamenco, fino, and sherry flowing into the night. Swipe through for a few pictures of our founder Richard enjoying the festival last year.

Sherry is one of Spain's most storied wines, and one of its most misunderstood. Made only in the Sherry Triangle between Jerez, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa María, shaped by 300+ days of sun, chalky albariza soil, and the centuries-old solera system that gives every bottle its depth.

At Camino, it has always held a permanent place on our list. Nothing else does what a well-chosen sherry does alongside food.

We teamed up with our friends at for the latest Tardeo Session, ice cold Estrella flowing all afternoon, a spin of the wheel for a lucky few, and a courtyard full of the right energy.

We’re bringing the full Tardeo experience to King’s Cross with live DJ sets, jamón carving, courtyard games, giveaways and fresh paella cooked straight from the pan. Expect good music, flowing , prizes throughout the day, and all the energy of a Spanish afternoon social without the late-night finish.
