DCafe DCafe is a cafe run by Deaf volunteers, for Deaf people. We are open every Tuesday from 10am to 4pm. DCafe serves Tea, Cake, snacks, hot and cold lunch.

We serve Hot/cold drinks, cake, snacks, light lunch.

❤️ To those volunteers who get up early to drive our older members to their beloved Wednesday Club, who travel to people’s homes to keep their hearing aids working well, who prepare and serve delicious meals for us at Dcafe, who push wheelchairs, who give companionship, who fundraise, who run marathons and climb mountains for us, who for 75 years have kept JDA strong … a big thank you to you from all of us at JDA! 🙏

What a joyful afternoon at JDA’s DCafe! 🎉

We celebrated Gideon’s birthday today and were delighted to be joined by Alan Haynes from All Aboard Charity Shops, one of our favourite charity shop supporters who help fund charities like JDA.

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteer Sharon for making a brilliant birthday cake, and happy birthday to Gideon from all of us.

Moments like these remind us how special our community is 💜
