Is a new pillow on your Christmas wish list? I have just updated the available pillow stock on the website and although we have all in stock (bar one option) we are getting low of some particularly the larger block pillows. After this stock has gone, it is highly likely we won't have more until into 2027.

Block, round, roller, travel - we have them all in different sizes too!

I am happy to reserve any pillow for pick up at one of the 3 events we are attending before Chrsitmas - no need to pay until the day:

* Nottinghamshire Bobbin Lace Society Lace Day - 7th November 2026

* Sparkles Lace Day - 21st November 2026

* Mainly Lace Events Lacemaking, Needlework & Quilting Christmas Fair - 5th December 2026

Not too late to register - another great interview to hear. We’ve just arrived at Flamborough Head for a 4-night R&R break - good news, wi-fi seems good so I’ll definitely be watching ❤️👏👏

Very excited and proud to be a part of this programme of events to raise the profile of our endangered craft and hopefully encourage new lacemakers and most importantly new lace teachers to keep bobbin lacemaking alive for future generations.

Pudsey and a short break!
A huge thank you to everyone who visited the Pudsey Lace & Craft Fair yesterday! A fabulous day and super to see so many happy lacemakers and tatters ❤️. We ended a superb day with delicious birthday cake (thank you Barbara for making) for Chris Lace Bobbins by Chris Parsons 🎶 🎂 . It was a long and tiring day but definitely a happy one - I found the settee very quickly when we got home!

Today will be a catch up day with mail order before we head off to Flamborough Head tomorrow for some R&R (and a bit of admin!). We will be away until Friday and will catch up with orders as quickly as possible on our return.

Thank you again everyone for supporting the fairs, it really is appreciated by all the suppliers and organisers. The next major fair will be the Mainly Lace Events Christmas Fair on the 5th December at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham. Want to make this an extra special day? You might want to consider booking in to attended one of the courses - there is a fabulous selection to choose from ❤️

We are almost ready for the Pudsey Lace and Craft Fair on Saturday - we will be up bright and early to travel north! Delighted to be returning to this fabulous event after having to miss last year due to illness.

The van will be full of lots of goodies but it is not too late to let me know should there be any specific requests - we bring a lot of stock but would hate to disappoint by not having the one particular colour, book or anything else on your wish list. Drop me a line - [email protected] before 6.00 pm tomorrow 😀

Please do support the fair if you are able, the organisers and suppliers really do appreciate this ❤️ .

See you there!

Home now after the Tonbridge Lace and Thread Fair. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this event and well done to Tonbridge Lacemakers for the organisation - Louise and your team 👏👏👏

It was lovely to combine the visit to Kent with a day out with Claire Bonito (Bonitocrafts). We went Gruffalo hunting at National Trust Knole Park!! A superb house to view, yummy cream scones and deer spotting too❤️

Next stop - Pudsey Lace & Craft fair next Saturday (17/10). Look forward to seeing lots of lacemakers and tatters there !

Countdown to the Tonbridge Lace & Threads Fair, which takes place this coming Sunday - 11th October. So much to see and do including a Q&A session with Claire Bonito, author of the fabulous recently published book, Modern Milanane Lace.

We will be heading down early on Friday as we like to enjoy Saturday in the area so if there is anything on your wish list that you might wish to purchase from us, email me before Thursday lunchtime ([email protected]) so I can reserve - I would hate to disappoint and not have a particular colour, book etc with me.

Please support the fair if you can - enjoy a day out with your lacemaking and tatting friends - light refreshments available too 😀
