Meet my granddaughters… the cutest customers in the café and also the ones most determined to eat Nanny out of house and home! 😂🍪🧁

We tried everything… crayons, babycinos, biscuits… but these two little VIPs were simply too cute to let loose! ☕💕

Don’t worry—they were released after being paid in cuddles, snacks, and raiding Nanny’s café supplies! 😆❤️

Pop in for a coffee… we promise we only cage the really adorable ones! 😉

P.S. If anyone sees our biscuit stock disappearing… you’ll know who’s responsible! 🤣🍪

Bluebells have a new mascot! Everyone meet LADY she was born on 21.04.26 and she came to her forever home only yesterday, she will be in the shop from tomorrow if anyone would like a cuddle…she gives lots of kisses too!🩷

If anyone has a child who attended FOOTSTEPS today, could you please check their child’s bag and belongings?

My granddaughter, Mimi, has lost her comfort blanket and she is absolutely devastated. It means the world to her, and we’re hoping it may have accidentally been picked up and gone home in another child’s bag.

🙏 Please take a moment to check bags, coats, and any belongings brought home today.

I will happily offer a reward for its safe return — at this point, I’d do anything to get it back for her.

Reminder! 😊

Our soft play is for café customers only.

Please don’t come into our café and complain about our soft play prices. It is £2.50 for one child or £4.50 for two children. The price has only increased due to rising insurance costs, including the regular inspections required to ensure the area remains safe for your children.

What is becoming frustrating is when people then repeatedly tell their children that they won’t be spending any money in the café. We are a small independent business and comments like this can be quite harmful. The soft play area is not a standalone business – it is an extra facility we provide for our customers alongside our café.

We know that most of our customers are incredibly supportive and we are very grateful for that. However, there are a small number of people who regularly use the soft play while making it clear they have no intention of supporting the café. At that point, it can start to feel as though our kindness is being taken advantage of.

We work hard to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for local families, and we appreciate every customer who helps us continue to do that.
