Trolls, street food and a courtyard full of laughter... now that's a Buttermarket evening!

A huge thank you to Miracle Theatre for bringing Peer Gynt to life with incredible costumes, larger-than-life characters and plenty of laughs, transforming our courtyard into a wonderfully wild corner of Norse mythology for the night.

We grabbed dinner from our independent kitchens, settled in with a glass of wine from Earles Bar and enjoyed a magic summer evening in Redruth. Here's to more unforgettable nights in the courtyard!

Music to dance to. Street food to feast on.

As part of our weekly DJ & Dine nights, Lucky's Record Bar and Woodenbox are bringing a very special edition with the first Club Handsome to the Buttermarket courtyard this Friday.

The night also marks a double celebration: five years of Lucky's Record Bar and a milestone birthday for DJ Tony O, who'll be soundtracking the evening with an all-night set built for dancing, eating and sticking around for just one more.

Round up your crew, grab something from our independent kitchens, order a drink from Earles Bar and settle in for a Friday night where the food is just as good as the soundtrack.

A little theatre magic is coming to the Buttermarket...

Join us this Friday, 3rd July for a family-friendly afternoon with as they bring a taste of Frozen the Musical to the courtyard between 4 and 5pm.

Get hands-on with crafts and puppeteering, take a closer look at real stage costumes with the , enjoy storytelling with and be in with a chance of winning a family ticket to the show.

Then keep the fun going with a Buttermarket feast from our six independent kitchens, including children's specials, DJ & Dine in the evening with resident DJ Tim Hendy, and our Blue Sparkle cocktail and mocktail specials waiting to glitter at Earles Bar.

Six kitchens. One Buttermarket experience.

This summer, tuck into independent street food kitchens The Filthy Focaccia, My Mum Makes, Silco and Cult Burger, alongside pop-ups The Cornish Fijian and Little Lemon Crepes, all under one roof at Cornwall’s food hall, with Earles Bar pouring the drinks.

We’re open Tuesday to Sunday. Head to our website for events, kitchen and bar opening hours, then grab your favourite people and soak up summer in the courtyard.

July at the Buttermarket is packed with summer evenings, courtyard moments and plenty of reasons to stay for just one more drink…

Our regular courtyard favourites are in full swing, with Shake, Sip & Snack cocktail nights, Sundown Sessions, DJ & Dine Fridays, Sunday Soundtrack and the return of our Young Makers Market.

We’ve also got Miracle Theatre returning to the courtyard for an unforgettable evening of open-air theatre with their performance of Peer Gynt.

Street food, cold drinks, live music, creativity and that unbeatable courtyard atmosphere… summer is looking very good at the Buttermarket.
