The Malet Arms is a historic pub in Newton Tony, just outside Salisbury. Dating back to the 17th century.

Originally a coaching inn, the pub remains a popular spot for locals and visitors to enjoy a drink, meal, or a relaxing countryside escape.

A big day coming up this Saturday at The Malet Arms 👀🍔🍻⚽

First up, our BBQ Party in aid of Salisbury Hospice Charity runs from 3pm to 8.30pm, with live music from King Card and The Real Dealers, plus raffle prizes to be won.

BBQ tickets are selling really quickly now and only limited tickets are left, so please don’t leave it too late.

Then later on, we’ll be showing England vs Norway with a 10pm kick-off, so it’s set to be a brilliant day from afternoon right through to the evening.

Come down, support a great cause, enjoy the atmosphere and make a day of it at The Malet Arms, Newton Tony.

A Massive Thank You!

We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful locals and to everyone who came along to support our Pig Racing Night on Friday. The event was a fantastic success, and it wouldn't have been possible without your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit.

This is exactly what a community pub is all about – people coming together, having fun, supporting a great cause, and making memories along the way. We are incredibly grateful for the support shown on the night.

We hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did, and we look forward to welcoming you back for more community events in the future.

Join us at the Malet Arms for two fantastic events in support of Salisbury Hospice 💛

We’ve got a great couple of dates lined up:

🔥 BBQ & Live Music Day – Saturday 11th July (3pm–8:30pm)
Enjoy a delicious BBQ served throughout the day, with live music from King Card and The Real Dealers to keep the atmosphere going. There’ll also be raffle prizes up for grabs, so plenty to get involved with!

🐖 Pig Racing Night – Friday 5th June
Get ready for an evening of laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of excitement with our much-loved pig racing!
Starting at 7pm, with the first race at 7:30pm.
£12.50 per person, including curry.

Both events are in aid of Salisbury Hospice, helping to support the incredible care they provide to our community.
