It's Run Club night! Our run is ON, but it looks set to be rather warm - we will keep the pace steady and stick to the shade where we can, but do think about how to look after yourself in these conditions and please come along lathered in SPF with some water! If the heat means you'd rather give it a miss this time, we understand. There are still a couple of places available if anybody fancies joining us 🍻 https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/abbeydale-brewery-run-club-tickets-1992357279255

Now that the commotion has died down and the kick off for England's next match is confirmed to be staying at 1am UK time we can confirm that unfortunately we will not be staying open to show the game at the taproom.

Should England see off Mexico we will be showing the Quarter Final game vs Brazil/Norway on Sat 11th July. We hope to see you then!

Now pouring on cask - Krush'd Dreams Summer Ale

A beautifully light and refreshing Summer Ale collaboration between Rooster's Brew Co & Abbeydale Brewery, with a light body and plenty of juicy citrus & soft stone fruit. Come down and check it out for yourself out in the (much more manageable) summer warmth out on the decking.

We've had our drop of In the Elements, our collaboration with Colbier, now available in the taproom!

Showcasing how special malt can be. In the Elements uses No. 19 Maris Otter, a special heritage version of our house grain, riffing alongside UK grown Olicana and Jester hops. Expect layers of robust, toasty flavours alongside smooth waves of caramel sweetness, with a rounded bitterness encore.

Available in can in the fridge to drink in or takeaway, look out for it on the cask line up soon

A very special beer just hit the bar. In celebration of Sheffield Wine Week this tart and tangy Pinot Noir Barrel Aged Heritage Saison is the sharp refresher you need to harness this heatwave.

Keeping Pomaces is a fusion of grain and grape, barrel and brett, teamwork and time.

Brewed using historic Plumage Archer barley and UK grown Olicana hops, aged in our Funk Dungeon in ex-wine French Oak barrels, we then blended this base onto the pomace of beautiful English Pinot Noir grapes, grown organically by Matt Gregory on his vineyard in in the Leicestershire Wolds.

The result is a true expression of English terroir, with each ingredient given space to flourish by the varied producers involved in bringing this to your glass, all sharing an ethos of low intervention, natural yeast and the utmost care and respect. Expect an elegant acidity with flavours of tart, crunchy apple and sharp raspberry sherbet, combined with jammy redcurrant and plum. Earthy undertones of rich oaky tannins and subtle herbal notes from the hops bring balance, before a lick of sweet vanilla ensures a clean and rounded overall finish.
