Outsourcing sides and extras is a great way to help with your catering an event. Yesterday I delivered sides and pudding to a family party allowing the hosts to concentrate on the main dishes and hosting without worrying about fridge space and prep space for salad making in the morning.

Classic house leaf Salad, Asian Slaw, Classic Potato Salad and a Waldorf Salad. Pudding was a Ginger and White Chocolate Cheesecake finished with British Raspberry.

Another finger buffet for a lovely lady's funeral reception. Friends and family gathered together to share food, drink and memories.

Classic finger buffet food with Sandwiches, Indian bites, Crudités, Sausage rolls, Chicken pieces, Marmalade glazed sausages, mini Quiche, Pork pies, Scotch Egg and then a selection of cakes. Along with being on hand to serve tea, coffee, keep buffet tidy and wash up.

Lovely to serve and help a family today with the celebrations or life of a man who has gone far to soon.

The family had the opportunity to share memories, be together and support one another while we took car of everything else.

Finger buffet with homemade cake, tea and coffee also served by us. We arrived at the venue whole the service took place, laid out all the food and got the coffee fitter going.

Serving the guests and keeping the buffet tidy helped people continue to graze all afternoon.

Back to work today and catching up on emails and admin. Nice to get messages from customers who I catered for just before going away, feedback is always encouraging and motivating.

Had a lovely holiday with lots of just nice relaxing and chilling out. Its been lovely to have time off and away from the kitchen. Got a busy summer coming up so good to get a little recharge.

Happy Monday everyone and hope we all manage in the sun this week.

Lunch delivered to a couple celebrating 30 years of marriage.

They had lunch in the garden. Salmon and Coronation Chicken stared as the protein. I then made Waldorf Salad, Coucous Salad, Rice Salad, Mixed leaf Salad and new Potatoe. Little cheese selection on the side.
