Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. It's not trying to be a 5 star restaurant - it's not trying to be a trendy gastropub. It's a country pub with food - and very good food at that! There are regular Quiz Nights, Music events and special occasion events. As you'd expect from a Kent pub - there's also Bat and Trap and a fine choice of beers and ciders. Plus - there are five B&B rooms - all at excellent prices. Come and visit this little gem of a pub :-)

Adnams “Golazo” is our guest ale this week and it’s a clean, crisp, and sessionable pale ale (4.1% ABV) crafted by the Suffolk-based Adnams brewery. 🍻
Inspired by the excitement of football, its brewing team designed it with light malt, a touch of maize, and a blend of Mosaic and Simcoe hops to deliver refreshing citrus and tropical fruit notes. Come try it before it’s gone 🍻⚽️

Lilley’s cider is a flat cider which packs a punch of flavour! We’ve got their famous mango cider, as well as their cherries & berries cider and tropical cider! 🫐🍓🥭🍍

Our dinner menu salads are packed with fresh ingredients, full of flavour, and the perfect choice for those warm summer nights!

One of our salads available on our menu is a beetroot, pear, blue cheese & chorizo salad! 🍐

And our big seller, the Mexican steak salad! Grilled steak seasoned in Mexican spices, avocado, charred corn and black beans topped with a lime- cilantro dressing! 🍋‍🟩

Both served from 6pm- 8:45pm, Tuesday to Saturday!
