To all local people interested in knowing more about sound engineering :

We have some coming up!!! Run, once again, by our brilliant Matt Helm. Who will take you from beginner level. No previous experience necessary. Just a desire to learn 🤘

These sessions are extremely oversubscribed because there really is the possibility of learning enough with us (with a longer term programme available) to reach professional gigging level. So PLEASE contact us ASAP if you are interested. We will prioritise people from the local area and those from low income backgrounds. But do contact us regardless because we may be able to accommodate 🌸

We are planning a first session on MONDAY 27th July. Further sessions to be announced.

We all had a glorious time on Sunday at our Table 2 Sessions.

This is the third Sunday of every month from 3pm - 5pm. Everyone is welcome. We sing and play standard folk songs and classic songs we hope you’ll know. Nothing is plugged in. It’s free and it’s joyous!

From Monday 20th July we are going to open 7 days a week from 11am!!!! We are hoping that it will make it easier for people to pop in because no-one will have to wonder whether we are open or closed. We have some flyers we’re taking to hotels and other local places where people pass through ♥️

We will be screening the match at ours on the big screen to celebrate, what we predict, will be an amazing victory for our team ⚽️💪!

Some of the things that make us proud to be in include a really lovely, large and active community of ecologically-motivated people who are protecting our wild spaces & advocating for our planet 🌎

Our local Sutton Amnesty International Group who are amazing and have been directly instrumental in the release of political prisoners across the world;

And our local Dialogue Society - a Turkish founded group who bring people together from different backgrounds, to exchange food and conversation.

We were lucky enough to be invited to one of their picnics and we came away feeling extremely tearful and moved after hearing them speak of building trust, outside of big slogans, so that everyone knows that whoever we are, whatever religion we do or don’t practice, whatever language we speak, we all matter ♥️
