Next Saturday is the village sports day and raft race!

Can you beat the Smith brothers or will they be victorious with their raft once again? Rafters are to meet at the village hall at 9:45am for registration. Spectators, meet on the bridge for 10:30am!

Have you got a duck? Still lots of numbers left, pop into the pub or the village shop to purchase. £2 a duck! £30 for the winning duck!

Sports day is a great day out for all, lots of races, a big old tug of war, BBQ, dj set, and more!!

If England win against Mexico in the World Cup, the next game will be on Saturday 11th at 10pm, we hope you see lots of you in the pub after the sports day!

Think I need something like this done to me in this heat, Gazza looks refreshed!

England are playing in the World Cup tomorrow at 10pm. We will 100% be showing it, and the pub won’t be closing until at least the last whistle! (Did someone say party at the pub?)

If we do well, England will be playing again at 5pm on Wednesday 1st July, followed by our monthly quiz at 8pm. Indian Spice will be serving food. Curry, footy, beers and a quiz, what more could you want?

Going forward we will show EVERY England World Cup game Wednesday-Sunday. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Come on England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

🎤 Menu Drop 🎤

This week we’ve added a spiced lamb sausage flatbread, and a smoked brinjal aubergine to the lunch menu. Steak-frites is back with a new bone marrow & peppercorn sauce!

You’ll see we’ve got in some exciting wines and paired them with certain dishes on our dinner menu (available at all times) so that’s pretty fun too!

Sad face from Ryan. Bad news from us all.

Unfortunately our cellar cooler has decided to give up, we cannot get anyone out to us until Friday.

Until then we are sorry to say we have no beer.
What we do have are bottles of asahi, old Mout flavoured cider, and thornbrough cider!
Real ales are on as usual, the same with wines and spirits!

We are so sorry for the inconvenience, we’re as stressed as you are!

Week commencing the 1st of June, how are we already in June!?

We’ve added a lovely fresh courgette and feta salad on the starters. Smoked bacon chop with Comte cheese on the top on the evening menu. We’ve also added the option to add surf to your turf and add half a lobster tail to your sirloin!
